At The Gathering we believe in a plurality of qualified leadership. We believe the leadership should be accountable to Jesus, His word, other leaders serving the church, and the church body. We believe pastors are to take very seriously their care of the church of God because Jesus obtained the church with His very own blood (Acts 20:28). Further, pastors will give an account to God for their work (Hebrews 13:17). So, pastoring is a noble and important calling.
